With an extensive background in nails both in Europe and the United States, Yuliya Normand is passionate about this industry. As the Director of Education for Entity Beauty, Yuliya thrives on sharing nail education with others, whether it's teaching classes, presenting on stage at major trade shows, or leading educator training both domestically and abroad. Her work has appeared on industry posters in New York and Chicago, as well as in nail magazines around the world. A former salon owner, Yuliya now focuses on her teaching career, designing custom press-on nails and digital content creation from her home in Sarasota, Florida.
My first job in the industry was in my hometown of Kyiv, Ukraine. It was a very nice salon where I got to learn how to work with hard gel, which was only starting to gain popularity back then. Here in the United States, my first job was at the absolutely gorgeous L. Spa in the heart of Sarasota.
Either the traditional French style of sculpted acrylic created by Tom Holcomb (the iconic style of Entity Beauty) or a perfectly done clean manicure with nude polish, aka “Old Money” style.
My proudest career moment was becoming the Director of Education for Entity Beauty; the company that made me fall in love with their products and education. I love being able to share all my knowledge and experience with fellow educators and nail professionals in the industry.
I happen to live near one of the hottest spring break locations in the U.S.—Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota. It's an absolutely stunning beach on the Gulf of Mexico with white sand and perfectly blue waters.
